Deathly Hallows Movie Poster

I know that this poster is not new to anyone. But I was just flipping through the new pictures of the film on imdb.com when I saw this poster again. It brought tears to my eyes. This poster makes me feel so sad inside. My heart feels sad.

So I just wanted to share. I think that this poster is a great poster. Mugglenet.com has a great post from a few weeks ago that compares it to a poster for the first film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I highly recommend comparing the two.

Definitely read that here.
Or you can simply compare them here. Mugglenet was kind enough to set that up!

  1. Ugh, you really aren't kidding. It's like seeing my childhood burned down to cinders before my eyes. Hoggywarts has been my (dream) home for a long time and seeing the two side by side is heartbreaking.

  3. The other night, I was driving home on a dark, windy, empty road, and all of a sudden there's an owl up ahead looking at me. I went around him. First thought: Oh, wow an OWL! In the WILD! Not something I see everyday. Second thought: Oh no, I could've HIT him if I hadn't been looking. Third thought: Maybe he's bringing me my belated Hogwarts letter from Dumbledore.
I'm over the age of a first year. But I still dream.
That's the coolest thing about books though. I've been to Hogwarts. I've been all over the place. They transport you somewhere and make you feel this connection, even more so than movies. Sigh.

  4. Molly, I couldn't agree with you more. And now you can actually go to Hogwarts. It's like Universal studios dissected my brain and decided to make one of my dreams come true. I mean, butter beer and Hogsmeade and Hogwarts, oh my!

I also wanted to let you know I gave you an award over here.
